Partnership for the 24/25 Season

There was a bit of luck involved in the club’s ability to remain in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg during the 2023/24 season, but ultimately, they stayed in the league. However, that’s now in the past, as the new 2024/25 season is already underway. The team is back to work, focused on further improving their organization and elevating their performance on the field.

While our influence on the team’s on-field performance is limited, we continue to support the club’s organizational development. SSV Reutlingen 1905 Fußball e.V. has been using ERPNext for several years, particularly for managing invoicing and sales. The sponsorship department, led by Andreas Will, relies heavily on the system for day-to-day operations.

This season, we’ve already begun enhancing the system’s processes to make Andreas’ job easier and speed up the management of sponsor-related orders. We’re currently developing a custom “Sponsorship” module, which will streamline the tasks required. Once it’s in place, communication with the accounting department—ensuring timely payments—will also become more efficient. At the moment, there are still Excel sheets in use, but we’re working to replace them with a fully integrated and automated solution in ERPNext.

Our goal is to have the sponsorship process fully implemented and running smoothly by year’s end. Once that’s done, we’ll also update the football club, which plays in the 5th German regional league, Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, to the latest version of ERPNext—potentially even version 16.

Meanwhile, SSV Reutlingen helps us expand our reach through regional and online marketing. They’ve been instrumental in connecting us with local businesses that can benefit from our services.
